Two islands incredibly close to each other, separated by only 5 km of sea, and in winter, you can walk through the frozen water
to get from one to the other. Imagine that you start your journey at 10:00 in the morning, and expect to arrive in about an
hour. When you arrive, the clock shows an illogical time.
The islands are located on both sides of the International
Date Line, with a time difference of 22 hours. Walking the distance takes you practically to a different day.
These wonderful islands are located between America and Russia. They are called Yesterday’s Little Diomede Island and
Tomorrow’s Big Diomede Island.
